Gen.G Gold was the older PUBG team of Gen.G esports. The team was previously known as KSV AseL and later KSV CLES before the KSV eSports organization re-branded to Gen.G esports in May 2018.
History[ edit]
Timeline[ edit]
- November 7th - KSV AseL is formed with the roster consisting of Aloha, EscA, LEETAEJUN, and Simsn. The team name is based on their initials.
- February 10th - Aloha and LEETAEJUN leave the team.
- March 15th - Chelator and Loki join the team. The team name is changed to KSV CLES to include the new members' initials.
- May 3rd - KSV eSports re-brand as Gen.G esports, the team is renamed to Gen.G Gold. [1]
- August 16th - Gen.G esports announce the merging of Gen.G Gold and Gen.G Black into one team, Gen.G PUBG. EscA also goes on break. [2]
